So…we took a road trip to get help from some friends to help us crack the nut (for pun spotters…yip, that’s one!) of capturing this goodness in our granola. 633km later, we ended up at the window of Fix and Fogg, the Welly-based lawyers and PB afficionados, who helped us create this crunchy explosion of peanuts with a scoop of peanut butter. How do we create granola here at Hubbards? A good amount of breakfast know-how, green-thumbed ingredient knowledge and a pinch of plum luck to ensure everything comes together! The secret to making an incredibly delicious gluten free granola is to get in quick and grab some of the best ingredients. We hunted out buckwheat amaranth and cashews, but they spotted us first and dashed off giggling, leaving us in the dust. Sprinting to keep up, we snagged them together in one happy, wholesome cluster, with a hint of maple to sweeten the deal. To be honest, we’re all still puffing hard – those taste ingredients sure do run fast! But we have rounded them all up now in this pouch to let your taste buds run free.
